Hi - I gave up with this software - I never did get the thing to work, but with other software I found that automatic updates my pc would stop the software from working, so I simply did a system restore back to a date before the item stopped working and loĪnd behold it worked, but of course if your pc is set to automatic updates each time the pc updates itself with new sound drivers or whatever a system restore is going to be needed to put the pc back to when the correct dowmloads allowed the software to work but be sure to evaluate based on the actual video recording, and NOT what you are hearing in "Monitor" condition as you are recording. You may also want to experiment with Microphone Volume settings. If using earplug as source on the camcorder, test adjusting the output video with various levels so your camcorder is set at an optimal audio Make Sure Mic Boost is OFF in the sounds control panel, otherwise the audio is awful.
